Leaving a Comment

Many of you have asked about leaving a comment on the blog. We've cleared one of the security features so now anyone can leave a comment without having a special ID. We do ask that people leave a name if they don't have an ID, so we know who's visiting:)
To leave a comment:
1. Post your comment
2. Choose a profile--no ID?? Then choose name/URL
3. Select post comment and then enter the special phrase that appears on the screen.

Thank you to everyone who has called, sent cards, and left messages! Mom (and all of us) truly appreciate it!!

  1. I've been up all night practicing my dance getting ready to come see you(or maybe I've been up because my inlaws were supposed to arrive next wed. and they decided to come here tomorrow and stay the night on their way to visit Joel in Fishers). Whatever the reason...I've been thinking about all of you. Gabi keeps asking me when we are going to go see you. I didn't know if kids were allowed. All of the kids are currently healthy but I wasn't sure if there was an age restriction or even sure how you were feeling about visitors. You're the Queen right now so what you say goes, but when you get better it is back to the ruling of King Winford. I have to do whatever he says because I don't want him to pull his hand down over his face in disgust like he did when he took us fishing and he couldn't keep up with all of us getting our lines caught in trees. Like he really thought he would be able to fish when he took all of us..go figure.
P.S. I'm coming to see you even if you don't want visitors. I'll spiderman up the side of the building and just peek in on you through your window. Love you Loads

  2. I have a great amount of optimism. Reading about Michelle dancing has killed even some of my white blood cells. I think I have found some euchre players in Seoul. Don't worry, I will do you justice.
    Stay strong,
    Brad

  3. Words can never express how strong my feelings of love and concern for you are. Mary as the baby of the family you have reflected the emotions and fun-loving side with an energy and strength that are immeasurable.

You have an infectious personality and everyone loves you because you are so much fun.
You have the advantages of youth and a fighting spirit that I have always envied.
Now knowing what you have to fight - with the best medical treatment in the state the odds are now in your favor.

See you soon - don't hesitate to call me when you need someone to cheer you up.

    Your loving brother and friend

  4. Windford, thanks for the update on Mary. How are you doing? Please take care of yourself as well so you can also get better. You know that Mary worries about you too. I'm so glad you have four wonderful children plus their spouses and the rest of the family there to help you both thru this. I've hesitated calling Mary as I know she's worn out and very emotional. When she wants to talk have someone email me and I'll be glad to call her. Give her a big kiss and hug from me. I love all of you! Barbara Joy

  5. Have you gotten any cytogenetic data back? I understand if you don't want to share that, but I do have some background in that area so feel free to ask if you have any questions.

  6. Mary and Windford, you are in my prayers daily. I am not avoiding you by not calling; I just don't think the timing is right but if you ever feel you want to talk with me, have someone call and I'd be happy to call. I wish I had the humor of Michelle and Brad but I just can't think of anything funny now. I know it's hard to stay positive throughout this, but it will help. Windford, please take care of yourself as well. It is not easy being a caregiver and you have your own health to worry about. I know it's hard; thank the Lord you have four wonderful children and their loving spouses, not to mention the other family members who can watch over both of you. Mary, big hugs, kisses, and sunshine coming your way. I love you, Barbara Joy

  7. Hi Mom!! Hope you and dad had fun watching the radar last night since was pretty much all that was on TV. I'm going to try to run over before I leave for Chicago today. You should see my bag--it's full as can be and heavy as heck! Be glad you don't have to carry it:)
Brad--I don't think we have the cytos back yet, but when we do, we can send them to your email (rather than posting them). Steven is going to help us decipher some of that too, I think!

You are wonderful - I love you. Heck you got to get better to come down for the family reunion church....I knew that would make you laugh. Prayers to you both.. Love you Barbara

  9. Hey Mary,
Hope you are having a good day today. Carla P is coming to see you and I so wanted to come with her but am not able to. I was supposed to also have went with her over the weekend but again, that didn't work either. I hope to see you soon, but I did send a little gift for you and Carla P is bringing it to you. My mom is in the hospital, and then probably a nursing home for rehab so I'll be tied up for a while, but I will see you soon. Hang in there! Many thoughts & prayers to you and the whole family! Tammy B.
