Mary was asked by Dr. Cripe to help with a Channel 13 News Story on Monday, October 22. Here is the clip from Channel 13. They asked a LOT more questions and took a LOT more video than what is shown, but we are so proud of Mom's courage to get in front of the cameras!! Enjoy!!
Mary you did a great job. Your hair looks great, hell, you looked great. I wear my shirt like yours a lot. I hate to say it but when a 'celebrity' gets a disease, it certainly does raise awareness and funds for research. I know long time ago Peter Lupus stepped up for Lupus and if I'm thinking correctly Michael Jordan or some basketball star came out with his HIV and then it started raising money for research. I don't know much about the coach but I'll send prayers his way with yours and Winnie's. Now, you can add "TV celebrity" to your resume! I hope that made you laugh as that was my intent.
